Learn how Ernie Els hits a TON of backspin!

Backspin is something all love, but not everyone can do it. Using Ernie Els as a model, Nicolai Cetti will highlight some of the basic movements he is making, in order to create a lot of backspin when hitting small wedge shots.

    Hi Nicolai,

Great content. What wedge will get the most backspin? Consider the following: maximum friction is achieved at a spin loft of 52-54 degrees. With an angle of attack of -7, shaft lean of 5 degrees: 60 degree wedge would create spin loft of ~62 degrees and a 54 degree wedge would create a spin loft of ~56. Would the 54 degree wedge be the best to use to spin it? (Also, am I correct on my assumptions?)
